Open Discussion (#3) - Still seeing nulls in address book fields in v. 1.0.4--ticket #136 not in build? (#85) - Message List
The ticket that addresses this is currently closed: http://www.logicprobe.org/proj/logicmail/ticket/136
I studied the ticket workflow, but don't see a state that indicates whether a fix is in a build or not. I'm assuming this patch is not in build 1.0.4?
Just wanting to better understand the ticket system, so I don't mess with tickets that I shouldn't.
This fix is in the 1.1 branch, though it was reported against 1.0.4. The way you can tell is by the milestone the ticket was assigned to. The default ticket workflow in Trac doesn't provide a good way to distinguish "fixed in the repository" from "fixed in a release". Trac 0.10 (which I started the project using) provided no easy way to change this. Trac 0.11 now has a fully configurable ticket workflow, though I haven't put in the time and effort necessary to customize it.
At this point, I strongly recommend just grabbing the latest 1.1 build, and using that. The only reason I haven't cut a 1.1.0 release yet is that the translations aren't all up to date. I'm seriously considering adding a compile/preprocessor flag to disable those translations, just so I can get everyone to move to it, since it does have a number of bug fixes.
