Description

With build 170 I can't seem to select my sent folder which resides on a imap server. I can select the local sent folder.

Is there a way we can select the sent folder which resides on a imap server. (so the sent messages are stored on the imap server?)

Thanks John

  • Version changed from 1.1 to 1.9.1
  • Milestone changed from 1.1 to 2.0

Please add more detail, because it "works for me".

Exactly what did you do? What did you see? Exactly what didn't work?

Is the Sent folder not visible, or just won't let you select it?

Without these sorts of details, a bug report is useless.

Sorry, I can see it, but I can't select it. Here are my steps,

  1. select configuration menu
  2. select accounts - imap account
  3. change from basic to folder settings
  4. select sent message folder
  5. scroll down to my "sent items" (my sent folder is called "sent items"
  6. try to select "sent items" folder and can't select it.

hope this helps.

Quick question... Does your sent-items folder have sub-folders?

Okay, I found it. Its a side-effect of me forgetting to do something in my updated handling of folder subscriptions. Any folders that show up italic in the dialog cannot be selected, and many of them were, which clued me into it.

I'll be checking in an update shortly, so build .181 should have the fix. You'll probably need to delete and re-create the account to make it take effect, however.
